You can easily take the drawers out of a nightstand, paint it, get some screening and hinges from Home Depot or Lowes and make an awesome crate.
Does it to hot in crate all closed in like that???
No as long as your home is air conditioned and living in a cool city then it is not a problem

Many of the night stand tables are actually made by DenHaus (you can google them.) They are not cheap, but occasionally they have sales from dent or return models. You can call them and ask to send the list. I will say the product is fabulous. We own 2 of the wooden ones.

thrift stores are a great place to look for old end table or bedside tables that could be painted and repurposed for this! If you want more ventilation in your table then you could get a one inch hole saw blade and cut holes in the sides for more air!

I saw one at a consignment shop that was an old 1970’s console t.v. Gutted and painted and a cushion made to fit in the bottom. I had a Great dane and he would have fit in it!!
